Natty Bijou

My influences come from travelling, sculpture, music and dreams, and the desire to create something you can’t find on the high street. I love melting recycled silver over organic matter to create unique shapes, reminiscent of coral, pebbles, plants and stars.

If the shapes speak to me, I love to make them come to life by adding dashes of gold, as if the sun is shining on them. Using the ancient Korean technique 'Keum Boo', I fuse tiny pieces of 24ct gold to the silver, as if I am a painter adding finishing touches, making each piece unique.
